Complexities

AEM Ltd had to carry out electrical and mechanical installations while the shopping centre was fully functional. AEM Ltd and the rest of the construction team therefore had to work alongside the centre management to co-ordinate any H&S issues due to the main scope of works being carried out at the entrance of the Shopping Centre. Good communication lines between AEM Ltd and the team had to very close as there were very strict deadlines set within the programme along with budget restraints.
Methodology

The Installations and the extension works were delivered on time and to budget through a robust programming strategy. Regular internal team meetings were held to ensure that Cost Targets agreed were met and that the progression of works was as per the programme. The Contracts Manager then relayed this information on to the client.
