Project: Galway House
Client: Colliers CRE
Galway House is located at the junction of York Street, Westlink and the M2 which is an area where Health & Safety for our staff and the general public was at the forefront of our minds throughout this project. AEM Ltd were commissioned to provide Electrical Services to the construction of this Design and Build six storey office accommodation.
AEM Ltd was appointed by the client to provide Electrical services.
The installations that took place are as follows:
• Landlord and office areas covered
• Access controls
• Disabled refuge
• Fall restraint systems
• Roller shutters
• Lighting protection
• Water testing
• Boiler and pumps
• Radiators and Pipework.
Detailed below is a short description of the key complexities which AEM Ltd encountered and overcame, which best demonstrates our ability to perform these tasks. The main challenge presented to us at AEM Ltd was the co-ordination and implementation of a fully fitted out Electrical installations to a new office development midst a confined strict and restricted location. Co-ordination was vital between all services while our engineers had to install ground floor ventilation into the new kitchen facilities.
All work was carried out within the allotted time frame and within the budget. This was achieved by clearly defining the project team’s communication and reporting channels so that information from the various team members was assimilated quickly and efficently. We then produced a detailed installation and commissioning programme, which when approved by the client and key stakeholders was integrated into the master programme.
