The main challenge presented to us at AEM was the time scale of 14 weeks, it was essential that all services were completed within this short timescale and on budget. Co-ordination was vital with the main builder to ensure that all deliveries were delivered within the set times appointed by the builder.
AEM’S Contribution:
As part of an Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) with a partnering Principal Contractor (PC), AEM were awarded this project bundle to deliver two new build primary schools (Oastlers School & High Park School) for children with severe & complex communication & interaction needs, including children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Complexities
Working in this occupied school we found that the main complex issue was working around children and understanding the Child Protection Laws and complying with these. All our team went through a rigid re-training schedule to encompass the Child Protection Law and the procedures laid down by the school to ensure that there was no interfacing between the construction team and the pupils.
AEM Ltd, we are committed to providing project solutions in construction through excellence in design, installation, and completion.
